D&D Campaigns

Promotional Campaign Cards for the D&D Rewards program are ony available at select conventions around the world. If you haven't signed up already, visit D&D Rewards and take your play to the next level.

Child of Vulkoor Promo Set Card 1: Creation

“Make no mistake, if you fall behind I’ll leave you to die.”
- Vezzurt, drow adventurer

A true testament to the valor of the elven race, the legacy of Xen’drik is yours if you can take it.

Benefit: This card unlocks the drow and half-drow races. Half-drows are identical to half-elves in the Player’s Handbook, except for the following: They have dusky gray skin and white hair; their drow heritage makes them susceptible to attacks and abilities that affect drow, and grants the ability to take feats, prestige classes, and use magic items only usable by drow; Common and Drow are half-drows’ automatic languages, and they may take any language as a bonus language (except secret languages, such as Druidic), including Drow Sign Language.

Drow are detailed in the Monster Manual. Drows have a +1 level adjustment and are considered 2nd-level characters at the campaign start. At first level, choose a class normally. A drow character can’t take a second class level until reaching 3rd level, and the race always takes up a level when the character progresses. Unlike the normal rules for level adjustments, your character gets the standard starting gold for its class. Drow in Eberron have Common, Drow, and Undercommon as automatic languages, and Draconic, Drow Sign Language, Elven, Giant, and Goblin as bonus languages.

Drow and half-drow in Eberron are different than their core D&D kin. Explore Eberron drow options in the Races of Eberron and Secrets of Xen’drik supplements.

Prophecy is the Ultimate Guide Promo Set Card 2: General

“I see folly’s path, and choose another.”
- Hornse, the Seer of Coldwake

Some say that draconic Prophecy demonstrates itself in the physical world so subtly that most miss its meaning, and so sublimely that to follow its path is to share in its perfection.

Benefit: Spend this card and two other action points at any point during your turn to reset your turn, starting it again from the beginning.

Wondrous Map Promo Set Card 3: Item

“That’s strange. The map says we’re not alone.”
- Xeln, changeling wizard

Though on first glance this tattered piece of parchment seems smudged and unreadable, calling upon its power causes an image of the immediate area to appear upon it, and sometimes it reveals secret information about that area.

Benefit: At any time during an expedition adventure (and even during some faction adventures) you can spend this card and gain the very next adventure secret, as your map’s magic illuminates it. It also details the immediate area around its owner, pointing out physical details such as walls, furniture, doors, secret doors, and also all creatures (be they hiding, invisible, or on a transitory plane) with a 100-foot radius. Activating the map takes 5 minutes of uninterrupted concentration, which provokes attack of opportunity, and can be disrupted as if the user were casting a spell.

Ancient Blood of Xen'drik Promo Set Card 4: Creation

“I’m not half anything. My people built this land, and will rule it once again.”
- Sparmarchi, half-giant freedom fighter

Natives of Sarlona, half-giants believe they’re descendents of ancient Xend’rik explorers. Whether you once wandered Syrkarn, the Tashana Tundra, or are a runaway slave from Dar Qat, you’re a commanding presence and a boon to any faction.

Benefit: This card unlocks the half-giant race, detailed on pages 12 of the Expanded Psionics Handbook.

Half-Giants have a +1 level adjustment and are considered 2nd-level characters at the campaign start. At 1st level, choose a class normally. A half-giant character can’t take a second class level until reaching 3rd level, and the race always takes up a level when the character progresses. Unlike the normal rules for level adjustments, your character gets the standard starting gold for its class.

As half-giants are naturally psionic, this card also unlocks nonrestricted rules items from the Expanded Psionics Handbook.

This card costs three stack slots.

Adventuring Prodigy Promo Set Card 5: Creation

“They said I could have any destiny I wanted. I chose Xen’drik.”
- Kelvo ir’Lannsrit, adventurer

You are simply more talented than others.

Benefit: When creating a Xen’drik Expediitons character, you can generate ability scores with the nonstandard point buy method for tougher campaigns (28 point) instead of the standard (25 point) point buy method. See Dungeon Master’s Guide page 169 for full point buy rules.
