Worldwide D&D Game Day to Take Place Saturday, October 16
We've Moved the Date (But Just Two Weeks)!

Now Dungeons & Dragons players have a few more weeks to prepare their characters for the biggest roleplaying event in history. Wizards of the Coast has moved Worldwide D&D Game Day to Saturday, October 16, 2004, closer to the release of the new D&D Miniatures Starter Set and Aberrations Booster Pack. Now players can look forward to staging their favorite campaigns on Worldwide D&D Day armed with the new 60-figure Aberrations miniatures set!

Worldwide D&D Game Day will be the biggest celebration of the greatest roleplaying game ever! Join the fracas defeating fiendish monsters, overcoming diabolical traps, and swapping heroic stories while making the 30th anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons unforgettable.

Participating game stores will present two adventures well stocked with hapless monsters to slay. The miniadventure, Lair of the Mad Alchemist, provides a great introduction to D&D, while The Forgotten Forge offers the thrill of a full-scale adventure set in the exciting new world of Eberron.

The new D&D Miniatures Starter Set will be the first starter set released since the D&D miniatures line launch in 2003. It contains 8 new terrain tiles, 12 randomized miniatures, a 20-sided die, damage counters, a checklist for the Aberrations set, and a complete basic rulebook updated for 2004. The figures in the Starter Set will be chosen directly from key D&D titles, including Complete Divine, Monster Manual III, Serpent Kingdoms, the new Eberron Campaign Setting, and the first Eberron adventure, Shadows of the Last War.
