In 2004, the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game celebrates its 30th anniversary. In January of 1974, the first hand-assembled D&D sets were released in simple white boxes. By year end, the original release of 1,000 sets was sold out. The rest, as they say, is history.
Fans of the game got to see an exhibit celebrating the 30 years of the game at Gen Con Indy this year. Here is an online version of that exhibit for your viewing pleasure.
